I desire a heart that does not cling to things like past hurts, guilt, shame, or regret. I yearn for a heart that seeks peace, wisdom, and unfathomable love. A love that radiates so bright, that everything else around me is unseen. 

I seek only to love and to be loved in return. 

In a world filled with contradictory elements, I find myself tossed to and fro. I battle the thoughts and words inside my head. Those I say and those which remain hidden. 

I am afraid, at times, to speak of truth. Or I am too harsh in speaking my truth to others. 

In these moments, only one thing remains constant: God. 

Only God remains the same.
