My tenure within the military is vast. My career spans assignments supporting the Joint Staff, U.S. Special Operations Command and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) as well as working with all branches of the military service.
From launching space shuttles to serving the President on September 11, 2001, I am familiar with change. I helped heroes and legends create Nuclear C3, ISR and IT systems as both a Capability Developer and Test Manager. I've created countless spreadsheets and architecture diagrams, but I love solving problems! My design thinking training, along with a systems engineering background, helps me see inside complex problems and design sustainable solutions.
When my active duty military career ended, I continued serving in the USAF Reserves. I also worked as a DoD contractor and Department of Army Civilian for several years, working alongside industry and Defense leaders to create sustainable solutions for the battlefield.
As a military spouse and mother of 4, I navigated the challenges of no-notice missions and deployments with strong coffee and prayer.
In 2018, I launched a non-profit and serve as the founding chairwoman on the board of directors. I understand what's needed to thrive when creating something new!
As a certified career coach and mentor, I'm using these skills to help veterans, and transitioning military members design a future where they can reach their greatest potential!
